Matrix Algebra Community Based Organisation was established in 2009 to support vulnerable and marginalised youths, persons with disabilities and adult women through education, training and practical skills development.
Building knowledge and practical skills within the community
Matrix Algebra Community Based Organisation is a community-based organisation established in 2009 with a mandate to foster teaching and training for vulnerable and marginalised youths, persons with disabilities (PWDs) and adult women in Kajiado North Sub-County, Kenya. The organisation works to empower community members through knowledge, skills and attitudes that can support self-sustenance.
Matrix Algebra gives priority to vulnerable and marginalised youths, PWDs and adult women in the community. Through teaching and training programmes, the organisation identifies young people and adults who are interested in continuing their education and improving their skills. This work is undertaken in collaboration with other stakeholders and the surrounding community.
Opportunity through education, training and practical skills
Our mission is to positively affect the lives of vulnerable and marginalised youths, PWDs and adult women by providing opportunities that enrich their lives.
This is pursued by strengthening the capacity of vulnerable and marginalised people in the community who have dropped out of school because of poverty, including through primary and secondary education, vocational training and awareness of their rights.
