ICT Literacy Training
With support from ISF Italia, Matrix Algebra CBO initiated an ICT literacy training project in Kajiado Central. More than 150 teenage mothers and young people graduated from the initiative and developed skills to operate in an increasingly digital environment, including accessing government services online.
The existing project also sought to support participants to use digital skills in pursuing income-generating opportunities. Matrix Algebra identified further short-course areas for skills development, including baking, tailoring and graphic design.
2026 ICT Skills Development
In 2026, Matrix Algebra CBO continued its ICT training activities to equip young people and other community members with essential digital skills. Participants were introduced to basic computer operations, computer applications, typing, internet use and other digital-literacy skills.
The training supports community members who require digital skills to access education, employment, entrepreneurship opportunities and online services.
